About Me

I am married to a wonderful gentleman called Nic, who takes great care of me. Thanks to his PHD in archaeology, I have learnt a lot about historical artefacts and living history. We have a beautiful daughter called Amelia May who loves to join us on our adventures. I work part time as a primary school teacher and devote the rest of my time to our family. In my relaxation time I enjoy multiple aspects of history including research, collecting, sewing and experimental archaeology. I am lucky enough to have an 1858 colonial stone cottage to help enable me in these hobbies. This means I can dig up artifacts in my garden and cook on my open fire. Compared to most of our friends,my husband and I are a little eccentric, but it makes life far more interesting.
